Headlines and Features
Learn and Serve student, Zack Kindel, organized a Special Olympics Big Feet Meet for Colonial Forge's Special Education/ID students as his individual class project. In attendance were 31 student athletes, 35 student volunteers, and 10 faculty/staff members. A special thanks to Forge Learn and Serve students, and the Forge Track Team.
Information about Graduation Saturday, June 16 8:00 AM
In order to provide more parking for relatives and guests, students will not be allowed to park at CFHS. Therefore, seniors should arrange to be dropped off at the school no later than 7:00 AM or plan to park at Winding Creek Elementary (WCES). There will be shuttle service provided from WCES to CFHS; however, parents will be responsible for transporting students back to WCES upon completion of the ceremony. Seniors should be at WCES at 6:30 AM for one-way continuous shuttle transportation to Colonial Forge High School. The shuttle service will continue until 7:00 AM.
Upon arrival at CFHS, seniors are to report to designated rooms for line-up by 7:00 AM. Individual portraits will be taken of seniors as they receive their diplomas during Graduation. Proofs will be available online for viewing and ordering 3-5 days after graduation. Lifetouch will provide information on the procedure prior to graduation. Relatives and Guests:
There will be limited parking at CFHS (on first come basis) and ample parking will be reserved for those with handicapped tags (must have DMV sticker or plate). If the parking lot is full, please park at the Jeff Rouse Recreation Center in Embrey Mill, the commuter lot on Courthouse Road, or at Rodney Thompson Middle School. Shuttle service will be provided to and from graduation. Shuttle service will run continuously starting at 6:30 AM. Please be aware that if you choose to park at Embrey Mill you must not park in front of the Rouse Center as it will be hosting a swim event that day. You will need to park near the fields.
Senior Graduation Practice
Graduation practice is MANDATORY for all seniors and will take place on Thursday, June 14th, and Friday, June 15th from 8am-12pm.

Yearbooks are still available for pick up and sale from the main office. The cost is $80.
Senior and Underclassmen Exam Schedule
Students are expected to take their exams on the scheduled day. All Senior Exams will be administered in multipurpose rooms.
- NO EXCEPTIONS WITHOUT APPROVAL from the Building Principal, and then only for emergencies.
- Wednesday, June 13 is the “Make Up” Exam day for seniors.
- Upon Conclusion of their Exams, seniors are to exit the building unless involved in meeting with a teacher(s) regarding final exams or graduation practice.
2019 Senior Portraits Are Coming
2019 Senior Portraits are coming June 18, 19, 20, and 25th. They will be held in the Aud. from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Come prepared: remember to bring multiple outfits and props.
Parking Enforcement has Increased
Please be sure to have a valid parking permit affixed to your car. If you drive a different family vehicle please be sure to see Mrs. Wieners when you come into the building. Unauthorized vehicles parked on school premises risk being towed. Students risk disciplinary action.

Required Parent Meeting for Behind the Wheel Participation
The following meeting dates are available to provide access to all parents. If the meeting at your teen's school is not convenient or timely, you are encouraged to attend a meeting at an alternate school site. The program is approximately ninety minutes long and begins at 7:00 p.m. Since the program’s inception, the number one recommendation has been to require the student to attend; therefore, since 2006 mandatory attendance of this meeting by both the parent and the student has been a requirement.
- Students and parents must attend the meeting together.
- Please arrive 15 minutes early due to the sign-in process.
- No one will be admitted 10 minutes after the meeting begins.
