Hello Winding Creek Students & Families! I am very glad to be at this school for my 5th year. Prior to joining SCPS, I worked as a classroom teacher and counselor in the Prince William County School division for 15 years. I attended Roanoke College and graduated with a BA in English and my VA teaching license. In 2010, I received my M.Ed School Counseling from Liberty University. The professional organizations that I am a member of include the Virginia School Counsleor Association and the American School Counselor Association.

My husband and I are blessed to have 3 daughters, all of whom attend Stafford County Schools. Most of my free time is spent cheering for my girls on the soccer field, reading, watching movies, and researching my family's ancestry.

This year I will be teaching amd working with students in grades 3-5. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support your child. I am always happy to help in any way I can.

Hello Winding Creek! My name is Teresa Chambers. This is my very first year as a school counselor and I am so excited to begin my journey here at Winding Creek. This school year, I will be the counselor for all K-2 classes. Prior to coming to Winding Creek, I spent the last 9 years as an academic advisor in higher education before deciding that K-12 was a better fit for me. I completed my Masters in School Counseling at  American Public University in 2017. I am a Stafford County Public Schools alumna as well as a resident. I am married and have 4 children ages 19, 9, 8 and 1. In my spare time I enjoy taking trips with my family in our motorhome! So far we have traveled to 37 states. I am thrilled to be apart of the Winding Creek family and look forward to a great year!
