The Pioneer 1947 Stafford School Yearbook: Our First Yearbook on Record
In 1947, Stafford School had both a High School and Elementary School! We had four bus drivers, four cafeteria staff members, and one grounds-keeper. The yearbook design was done with cut and pasted photographs using a typewriter, and was illustrated with pencil drawings. Our school newspaper was called the Esquire and the yearbook was titled Pioneer. Students could join the following organizations and sports teams: Pioneer Staff, Esquire Staff, Glee Club, 4-H, S.C.A., Librarians, Home Ec Club, Agricultural Club, Safety Patrol, Baseball, and Basketball. The Senior Play was entitled "Spooks and Spasms."
