  • Now Accepting 2022-2023 Applications

    Early Childhood is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 school year. Applications can be filled out online under the Parent Quick Links section of this website. If the parent has never applied for Head Start or completed an application before (new families or first timers), please apply online. If a parent is applying for the current school year (2021-2022) or has applied for Head Start in the past you must complete a paper application. An English or Spanish paper application can be mailed or emailed to you at your request. Call (540)368-2559 to request a paper application.     Stafford Schools Early Childhood Programs provide low income preschool children and those with special needs, as well as their families, with the knowledge and skills to prepare them for success now and in the future – in the classroom, the workplace, and the community. Our commitment is to foster partnerships with family, community, and staff to supply quality comprehensive developmental services for children and families. Implementing this vision requires high expectations in the delivery of children’s educational and family literacy programs, health and safety, dental, nutritional, and mental wellness opportunities. Emphasis is placed on family involvement and empowerment which is essential to the success of the child. Stafford Schools Early Childhood secures an array of individualized services and ensures that community resources are used in an efficient manner.
