Hello Parents and Students!
Wow......what a fast moving, changing world we are living in at the moment! Who would have thought that just 2 weeks ago when we said good bye for spring break that would be the last time we would see each other (in person) for the 2019-2020 school year! We are still learning what online/distance learning will look like for the remainder of this school year. To be clear.....school is not cancelled.....the buildings are just not reopening at this time. We hope that everyone will continue to do academic activities and engage in at home learning opporutnities through the remainder of the school year. I will be placing links to online resources in the class resource section of this webpage. I will be providing suggestions for some hands-on learning activities that I think would benefit your students. This is an opportunity for all of us to be more engaged with our students' education and spend more quality time with our families. I hope you will view this as a gift and a blessing. There are many things about our current situation that are difficult and unknown, but together, we will get past this health crisis and help move our kiddos forward in their learning while making meaningful memories.
I have included a link to Mrs. Wanner's webpage in the class resource section. She has uploaded links for Speech resources on her page that you can take advantage of during this time and all summer!
If you have any questions, please feel free to email me. I will get back to you as soon as I know the answer or can point you to the right resource to obtain the answer. If you need anything, please ask....I will do my best to help in anyway I can.
I want you and your students to know that I miss them terribly. i was not ready for the year to be over - we had a lot of learing to accomplish and a lot of fun to have....hopefully, we can still accomplish some of that virtually over the next few weeks.
Please wash your hands, stay home, practice social distancing, and follow all the CDC and district guidelines during this health crisis. The sooner we get the virus under control, the sooner we can get back to life as we knew it.
I hope you know that I love each one of your kiddos a great deal. Each of your kids are unique and wonderful in their own way. I share a special bond with each of them and my heart aches that we can't be together for the remainder of the year. Love on them and cherish this extra time together.
