I feel so honored to be starting my seventh year teaching at Kate Waller Barrett.  Our school is a gem in Stafford County! We are so excited to be continuing fourth year of Barrett Academy focusing on leadership, respect, heart, leadership and academic excellence.  I have taught third grade for two years and am beginning seventh year teaching fourth grade. I received a  bachelors degree at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY and have a master's degree in curriculum and instruction from Castleton College in VT. I have not always lived in such a busy area. I  grew up in the small town of Warsaw, NY, having a graduating class of about 76 students.  I am currently living in Stafford with my husband, and our fun-loving, 4 year old daughter, Kaia and 1 year old daughter.
