The Black Hawk baseball program is comprised of Student-Athletes who embrace a confident, aggressive, fundamentally sound and fun brand of baseball and are dedicated to working as hard in the classroom as they do on the ballfield.  We strive to build character in our players through hard work, dedication and a desire to succeed as students, athletes and citizens within the community.

Baseball Announcements

  • The 2023 Spring Baseball season will begin with tryouts on Tuesday, February 21, 22 and 23 from 5-7 pm at the BPHS baseball field.  All student-athletes MUST have an updated VHSL physical (dated after May 1, 2022) on file with the BPHS Athletic Department prior to tryouts.  No students or parents are allowed to drive/park by the baseball field.  All players must park/be dropped off behind the school and walk down the staircase.

    We will have a varsity and junior varsity squad this spring.

    Junior varsity practice times for the spring will be Monday through Friday, 3-5 pm.  Varsity practice times for the spring will be Monday through Friday from 5-7 pm with some Saturday practices throughout the season.
