• The Standard Diploma requires three courses in History. Standard Diploma students must take World History I plus Virginia and United States History, and Virginia and United States Government. The Advanced Studies Diploma requires that students complete four courses in History; the three listed above and World History II. Students may substitute Advanced Placement courses for selected courses when available. Classes that are offered at Stafford High School include: World History I (CP or Honors) World History II (CP, Honors, or AP) United States and Virginia History (CP, Honors, or AP) United States and Virginia Government (CP, Honors, or AP) Electives: Sociology Psychology Global Issues AP Human Geography AP Psychology
