The purpose of the art program is to provide students with a sequential comprehensive curriculum. This comprehensive arts program teaches students the skills and concepts needed to succeed in the real world. The arts help students learn to creatively solve problems and make decisions, build self-confidence, and develop informed perceptions. Major emphasis is placed on the appreciation and awareness of different cultures and styles throughout history. All fine (visual) arts classes require the purchase of supplies according to a list provided by the instructor.
Fine and Performing Arts Programs are broken into several categories:
