    • The student has maintained an “A” average (93% or above) in a specific course for the entire school year and has not been suspended; or
    • The student in grades 9-11 who has been absent from class less than 2 days, has not been suspended, and has maintained a “B” average (83% or above); or
    • The student in grade 12 who has been absent from class less than three days, has not been suspended, and has maintained a “B” average (83% or above); or
    • The student passed the END OF YEAR SOL test.*

Middle school students taking high school courses for credit will be entitled to exemption options (1) or (2).  Students who are enrolled in college-level courses will be required to take final exams if required to earn college credit.
