I am very excited to be your child's reading teacher this year!  I have been teaching for thirteen years and this is my fourth year teaching Third Grade. I taught First Grade for nine years, one year at Ferry Farm and eight years at Widewater Elementary. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from Clarion University of PA and a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Point Park University in Pittsburgh.  

Before becoming a teacher, I was a stay at home mom to my two children, Samuel and Ava.  Samuel is a senior in high school and my daughter is a sophomore.  My husband Mark, a fifth grade math teacher, and I will be celebrating 22 years of marriage this year!  When I am not working or running my children around, I love to read, play with my dog, and watch movies. We are HUGE football fans and cheer for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles! On Sunday, our tv is tuned in to the games from 1:00 to 11:00!!
