Miss Rana Buck

Rana Buck has been a teacher in Virginia since 2000. She graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA with her Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2000. In 2006, she earned her Master’s degree from George Mason University with a focus in Instructional Technology. She taught in Fauquier County before coming to Widewater in 2004 and has experience in Kindergarten, 3rd, and 5th grades. After 7 years of teaching 5th grade Wildcats, Miss Buck became the Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT), a role which allows her to work with students and teachers. She enjoys being able to bridge the divide between a traditional learning environment and the ever-changing world of technology. She earned her Master's in Library and Information Science in 2021, though she plans on staying on as ITRT for the time being.

Outside of school, Miss Buck reads voraciously, hikes occasionally, and loves her puppy unconditionally.
