Senior Meetings Letter from Mrs. Smiley-Ingalls
Hello Seniors and Families of the Class of 2021!Now that school is underway your Counseling staff looks forward to turning our attention to the all important individual meetings with Seniors. These meetings are designed to review and document all requirements for graduation, and review important processes and planning to help students meet their post-high school goals; whether college, employment or military.We will be conducting these meetings through Google Meet, and students may select a time of their choosing by clicking the link below to their counselor's calendar. The visiting colleges are listed in Naviance and on the Counseling Calendar at the bottom of the Counseling Home page. Registrations are done by clicking on the registration link in Naviance. A link to the meeting will appear 15 minutes prior to the event, and students should receive a reminder from Naviance 24 hours ahead of time.* Seniors: Please be mindful of not double-booking yourselves. If you have scheduled tutoring time on a Monday for example, work the other meetings in around that obligation.

Virtual College Exploration for all Virginia Students
September 14-November 5
The eight-week program consists of hundreds of opportunities for students to learn about the college search process and about many different colleges through panel presentations and weekly Virtual College Fairs.
Students will gain a wealth of college knowledge, get exposure to a variety of colleges, and have the opportunity to ask questions of admission counselors, all in a safe, flexible, online environment.
All high school students, transfer students, parents, and counselors throughout Virginia are all welcome to attend. Participation is free. To get more information, or to register for sessions, click on the link below.
2020-2021 Virtual College Visits in Naviance
We have started scheduling virtual college visits in Naviance! All college visits scheduled during first semester will be offered in a virtual format only. To get more information about the college virtual visits that have been scheduled for NSHS, login to Naviance > Colleges Tab > Colleges Home > scroll down to College Visits > Click on visits you’re interested in to get more information. The link/code to access each visit will be made available 15 minutes prior the start time.
