Mrs. Lynn Frohnapfel

Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Lynn Frohnapfel

This is my 19th year teaching. I spent my first 4 years in Florida before I moved to Virginia in 2004.  I have worked at Garrisonville as an LD Teacher before I moved to teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder 5 years ago. I have loved every minute of the time I have been here.

I have 4 children who were students in Stafford County Schools. They are all grown up now!  My daughters live in Charlotte and Austin and my twin sons live in Arlington.  My husband is a retired FBI Agent who is working part-time.

The Autism Program in Stafford County has adopted a new Social Skills program, Model Me Kids. This program uses video modeling to teach students how to use social skills in all settings.  Our class has already watched some of the videos and enjoyed some of the lessons. These lessons have helped our students learn and practice appropriate skills.  We will also be using the Zones of Regulation and Social Thinking in our classroom this year to assist students with self-regulation and a prosocial problem solving skills

Please check the weekly Take Home Folder for student practice and graded work.

UPATE:  During these uncertain times, I hope you are all finding some quality family time. I miss all the students that walk through our door in Room 30!  Until we find out further information from our Superintendent, we will not be providing any new learning material for at least this week.

Over the next few days and week, I will add some websites and activities that the students have worked on in our classroom to help keep them busy and motivated to learn. We continue to have access to Dreambox, Education Galaxy and Lexia through Clever, which your child can access through the GES technology website.

Please do not hesitate to contact me through email anytime if you have any questions or concerns. If your child has an IEP coming up, you will be hearing from the Special Education Staff for a virtual IEP meeting.

I look forward to another AMAZING year with your children. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please email me at
