Students may come to the library with a class or individually on a pass to do research-related assignments, studying, leisure reading, checking out library materials, or completing homework assignments. Students may come to the library  to use library materials. They must have a pass from a classroom teacher and report to class and have the classroom teacher sign the pass BEFORE coming to the library. Students should not use the library for socializing. Students need to respect the rights of their fellow classmates by keeping the library quiet, clean and returning materials on time. When students leave the library for ANY reason, they must get an authorized pass from a library staff member.

Books have a two-week loan period. Materials may be renewed unless other patrons have placed a request for them. There are no fines for overdue materials; however, it is expected that students will return materials on time or renew them so as not to deprive others of their use. Students are responsible for returning library books. Payment for lost or damaged books will be expected from the student who checked it out.

Some materials such as pamphlets, periodicals, software and reserve materials are available for overnight checkouts only. These materials may be checked out at the end of the day and are due before first period the following school day. Notices of overdue materials will be sent to students and faculty. Failure to return materials may result in the loss of checkout privileges.

Students may use the computers and Internet Access in the library for school-related projects, assignments and research purposes. Students should not play computer games or tie up the computers for "entertainment" purposes. While in the library, students are expected to follow all school rules and adhere to the student code of conduct. Students will receive referrals to their princials for inappropriate behavior or conduct.

After regular school hours at 2:50 p.m. Monday through Thursday, students are invited to use the library services until 3:30 p.m..
