    Tardy Policy

     

     

     

    All discipline will be done by administration.  Students must arrive to class with a pass issued from the tardy table after the 7:40 a.m. bell.  The following matrix will be used for all unexcused tardies from 7:40 – 8:00 a.m.   All unexcused tardies to school after 8:00 a.m. is considered “unexcused missed instruction” from class and will disciplined by your Assistant Principal.

    1st Tardy Warning    
    2nd Tardy Warning/Parent Notification    
    3rd Tardy 1 Lunch Detention and 5 Day Parking Suspension
    4th Tardy 1 Hour After School Detention and 10 Day Parking
    Suspension
    5th Tardy Saturday School and 15 Day Parking Suspension
    6th Tardy ISSP And 20 Day Parking Suspension
    Additional tardies to school will be referred to the administrator and disciplined as continued disregard for the SPCS Student Code of Conduct.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    TARDY TO CLASS
     

    Teachers will keep a tardy log in their classroom.  Parent notification should be made by the teacher on the 2nd unexcused tardy.  Referrals are written by the teachers beginning the 3rd unexcused tardy and each tardy after.  Referrals should be turned in to the alpha administrator for discipline.

    Any student missing more than 10 minutes to class is considered a “class cut.”
     
    Tardies will be monitored and reset on a quarterly basis.
