Battle of the Books 2019-20

  • Sign up now to be part of the 2019-20 NSHS Battle of the Books team! The team will compete against other county high schools this spring in a battle that is always fierce (but never taken too seriously). Teams compete across three rounds in a Jeopardy-style contest featuring different types of questions: short answer, character’s name, and lightening-round book title. Team members will develop their own strategies; you can read all ten books, or just become an expert on one, or several. We meet once a month during lunches until the competition gets closer, when meetings will be more frequent and some meetings will be after school.
