Welcome to Stafford County Public Schools' Department of Maintenance. The Maintenance Department's mission is to provide superior and comprehensive repair and maintenance services for the 3.9 million square feet of physical plant space and 1200 acres of land owned and operated by the School Division. Providing timely, responsive and professional customer service to our students, teachers, staff and community is our goal and part of our core values.
The responsibilities of the Maintenances Department include but are not limited to the daily and long-term repair and maintenance of the school division's physical plant, comprehensive preventative maintenance program, light construction and renovation through in-house and service contracts, building energy, fire and security control management, division wide energy management program, comprehensive HVAC upgrade program management, roof management, grounds maintenance oversight, pavement maintenance oversight, indoor air quality management, custodial operations management, recycling program management, refuse management, snow and ice program management, telecommunication management, storm water management, protective coatings program and flooring replacement program.
