Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
As stated in the Stafford County Public Schools Strategic Plan, our vision is to be an innovative learning organization committed to excellence. On May 12, 2015 Stafford County Public Schools entered into a contract with Tyler Technologies to implement and operate a fully-automated and fully-integrated Financial & Human Resources/Payroll & Benefits Management Information ERP system on a division-wide basis. Tyler Technologies is the largest software company in the nation solely focused on providing integrated software and technology services to the public sector – cities, counties, states and school districts. The Tyler system is called Munis and is used by more than 1,400 public schools across the United States.

Munis will be implemented over the next two (2) years (Click here to view the ERP Timeline) and will provide the opportunity to improve existing processes for accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, applicant tracking, benefits, budgeting, financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, grants, leave tracking, license tracking, payroll, position control, purchasing, recruitment, time and attendance, training (professional development) and travel via electronic transaction processing and workflow capabilities. Additionally, the system will enable more accurate, thorough, and timely analysis of our instructional programs and division-wide operations and support functions.
