Miss Dana Fregosi

Hello! My name is Dana Fregosi and I am thrilled to have your child in my class. I moved from New York to Stafford County in July 2017 to teach at Anne Moncure. A little background information about me: In 2014, I graduated from St. Joseph's College with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I am certified in grades K-6 to teach general education and special education. After a wonderful undergraduate experience, I immediately began work on my Masters and in 2016 received my Masters Degree in Literacy. I love teaching all subjects, but reading and writing are my absolute passions. I cannot wait to help your child begin learning the foundations of reading!

If I was not a teacher I would probably be a world traveler. I love experiencing new places and trying new activities. My most amazing adventures to date: skydiving, swimming with stingrays in Grand Cayman, and dogsledding the Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska. One day, I hope to experience every continent in our beautiful world. Aside from teaching, learning and growing are truly my favorite things to do.

I currently live in Fredericksburg with my three cats: Manxy, Bailey, and Beanie. If I didn't live in an apartment, I would probably have six dogs in addition to my three cats. Ever since I was a young child I have had a love for animals. One day, I hope to live on a farm with horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, and maybe even cows! I look forward to sharing my interests and quirks with your child and learning all about theirs!
