• The Free-Lance Star may be accessed online while on the SMS campus. Follow the directions below:

    1.  Go to  fredericksburg.com/nie.

    2.  You should see a "Wait a moment while you are being redirected" page for a few seconds (it is logging you in as a school user).

    3.  You will be linked to the NIE home page.

    4.  Click the e-Edition link on the right side of the page for today's e-Edition of the Free-Lance Star.  In the top right corner it will say "Welcome, NIE-user."
