In addition to her School Board duties, Irene serves as the executive assistant to the president and chief operating officer of the W.J. Vakos Companies in Spotsylvania, Virginia. She lives in the Courthouse area of Stafford with her sons Shane and Sean (both students at Brooke Point High School), and her two Labrador Retrievers, Sawyer and Bo.
