Pamela Yeung was elected to the School Board in November 2017, and her term began on January 1, 2018. She has a baccalaureate degree in business and information technology from Howard University, and a master's degree in science and technology from Johns Hopkins University.

Pamela was raised in the Netherlands and speaks, reads, and writes several languages including Spanish and Dutch. She has four children, three of whom graduated from North Stafford High School and one who is currently enrolled. While two of her sons graduated from UVA, her daughter is currently attending Duke Medical School.

Prior to being elected to the School Board, Pamela tutored Spanish and math, and volunteered in the elementary, middle, and high schools within the Garrisonville district. In the past, she has served on the School Board's Capital Improvement Advisory Committee, Finance and Budget Advisory Committee, and Technology Advisory Committee. More recently, Pamela served on the Board of Supervisors' Telecommunications Advisory Committee, where her latest project was working to bring WiFi to Stafford County's underserved communities.

Pamela enjoys cooking at family gatherings, traveling, and participating in different sports. She believes all students have equal value and deserve an opportunity for a successful education.
