Advisory Committee Organizers

  • Each advisory committee has an assigned facilitator who is an SCPS staff member. If you have a question about a specific committee, please contact that committee's facilitator. (The facilitator's name and contact information can be found on the committee's webpage.)

The overall advisory committee program is organized by the clerk of the school board. The clerk processes membership applications and organizes the first (orientation) meeting at the beginning of each school year. Contact information is below.

The advisory committees meet for the first time in mid-September each year. Persons interested in joining a committee are encouraged to apply during the summer. However, membership applications are accepted throughout the year if vacancies remain.
