What is Google Classroom and how can I access that platform?
Google Classroom is a web-based collaborative platform designed for students and teachers to be able to share school work digitally. All SCPS high school students have access to this tool by using their @scps.net Google accounts. Parents can request to receive automated summary emails from the Google Classrooms that their child has joined. If you would like to receive those automated summary emails please contact your child's teacher and they will add your email address.
What is Remind and how can I access that platform?
Remind (formerly Remind 101) is a messaging tool that some teachers use to help remind students of upcoming assignments, homework, events, etc. Please contact your child's teacher if you would like to join the same Remind group that your child has joined.
I'm having trouble with my ParentVUE account. What should I do?
If you're having any trouble with your ParentVUE account please refer to our school division's website for general troubleshooting advice. If you need further help please contact our school counseling Office.

How do I find out when athletic events and school activities are? How will I know if something gets cancelled or changed?
Check out our athletics and activities website calendar. It is updated almost immediately anytime a change happens.
How can I put money on my child's school lunch account?
The easiest way is to use the MySchoolBucks website. This way you can keep track of their account balance and add money anytime online.
The other option is to send cash or check (payable to MVHS) to school with your child. They can ask the cashier to add the money to their lunch account at the same time they're buying lunch.
I need to drop off something at school for my child (clothes for practice, backpack, etc.). What should I do?
Come to the main entrance of MVHS and let our security team help you the rest of the way. Be sure to come with your driver's license or other Government issued identification.
My child needs to ride a different bus home today. What should I do?
This would be on an as-needed basis and is not for a permanent change to the child's bus route assignment. Please contact the school by phone or send a note to the main office with your child.
