It is a district-wide reading competition held typically in Spring where students can "battle" other high schools in the County by answering questions in a team atmosphere about the nominated ten chapter books/graphic novels selected by all the high school librarians. It is a book club that is sponsored by the Library and run by Forge students.
What is the purpose of the program?
To encourage students to read current young adult chapter books/graphic novels and discuss in a fun collaborative, group setting.
How do you participate?
Participation in this reading program is voluntary and open to all high school grade levels. Students can join any time! Email Mrs. Lieser or Mr. Huffman if you are interested.
When does the club meet?
Every other Wednesday, during the second half of Power Hour in the library. Contact your librarians for the next date.
