Science National Honor Society
Welcome and Contact Information
The purpose of Science National Honor Society (SNHS) shall be to encourage participation in and recognition of scientific and intellectual thought. It is to advance the students’ knowledge of classical and modern science, to communicate with the scientific community, and to aid the civic community with its comprehension of science. It is to encourage students to participate in community service and, in turn, encourage a dedication to the pursuit of scientific knowledge that benefits all mankind.
Meetings for the 2020-21 school year will be held virtually via Google Meet from 3:30-4:30.
Dates for our meetings are as follows:

- December 7
- Jan 11* (2nd Monday in January due to the return from winter break)
- Feb 8
- March 1
- April 12
- May 3
- June 7
Members are expected to attend regularly scheduled meetings.
Non members are welcome to attend meetings and lectures!

Membership is restricted to 11th and 12th graders (and exceptional sophomores). Please read over the SNHS constitution concerning elligibility.*
The call for new members is in the spring for the following school year.

Dr. Reibach will be presenting on colony collapse disorder on December 7 during our regular monthly meeting which starts at 3:30.
Members need to complete 2.5 hours per semester.
