Continuum of Care:
Continuum of Care (CoC) is a federally-mandated local planning body that coordinates housing and services for homeless families and individuals. A CoC is made up of organizations and individuals that work together to develop long and short-term strategic plans to ending homelessness in their area. The CoC brings many community partners together to discuss trends in homelessness and to design a system to effectively and efficiently provided services for the needs of the homeless population.

Reduced Cost Internet:
There are several providers of low-cost internet; they do not always advertise their programs. It is helpful to call whichever company you know is in your area and ask if they have programs.

Family Assessment Planning Team (FAPT):
What is FAPT? It is a team that consists of representatives from the following agencies: 15th District Court Services, Stafford Department of Social Services, Rappahannock Area Community Services Board, Stafford County Schools and a Parent Representative.
FAPT evaluates the strengths of individual youths and their families, discusses what services might meet those needs, and develops an Individual Service Plan (IFSP) for each family. Services can include (but are not limited to) in-home services, mentoring, educational programs, residential programs, sex-offender treatment and respite care.

Rappahannock Area Community Services Board (RACSB):
The RACSB provides a number of services to individuals.

Department of Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS):
DARS can provide many services for (young) adults. Job Training, job shadowing. resume writing, interview skills and more.

disAbility Resource Center:
The disAbility Resource Center (DRC) offers many services. They  can provide families with information and referrals for disAbility related resources. They assist consumers with independent living skills training. They have a peer counseling program, and assist people with disAbilities with understand their rights as well as advocate for their needs. They additionally can assist with transition services.

Parent Resource Center:
The Parent Resource Center (PRC) is an information center for Stafford County Families. They work with parents, schools and the community to build positive futures for our students with disabilities.
