Mobile Pantry
What is a Mobile Pantry?
The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank brings fresh produce and pantry items to remote and under-served areas of our community where many food-insecure families have limited access to healthy food.
The Mobile Pantry rotates distribution between sites within our service area to help us attain our goal of a Hunger Free Community.
Distribution Update Due to COVID-19
Please have your trunk cleaned out for our staff & volunteers to place the food directly in your vehicle.
Where is the Mobile Pantry?
Currently the Mobile Pantry program runs at 14 different locations throughout our service area, each with their own designated time & day of the month (Weather Permitting). For real-time updates, please download our app FredFoodVA.
Inclement Weather Policy & Holiday Schedule
Mobile Pantries will be canceled if weather conditions are dangerous (e.g. thunderstorms) or if the scheduled day falls on a Holiday. The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank will post all changes to the Mobile Pantry schedule on our app, FredFoodVA.
