• COVID19 FINANCIAL HARDSHIP

    Parents/Guardians if you find yourself in a financial hardship due to job loss or any other situation you may fill out a Free and Reduced Meal Application. If you qualify, not only would you receive meal benfits, but you could also qualify for any other related benefits as well.

    Virginia families with students who would have received free or reduced-price meals if schools were open, will now recieve temporary P-EBT food benefits. 

    P-EBT TEMPORARY FOOD BENEFITS

    • In order to assist with your P-EBT questions, SCPS Nutrition Services has compiled a list of answers to frequently asked questions below. 
    • Questions regarding current or previous issuances of benefits should be directed to the P-EBT Call Center from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

    • Long wait times on the support number may be expected. 
    1. How do I activate the card? 
      1. By phone at 1-866-281-2448: or
      2. Activate online at https://www.connectebt.com/ or
      3. Download the ConnectEBT app on your smartphone
    2.  Can I use the P-EBT card if a different Parent/Guardian name is on the card?
      • If the person receiving the card is the legitimate guardian of the student, they can activate the card and use it.
    3. Is there an expiration date on registering, or using the card?
      • After one year, unused P-EBT benefits will be removed from the card.

    When using  the automated system, (phone, website, or mobile app) to request a replacement card or access account information, please use the following information at each step.

    • "Enter P-EBT card number" - for replacement card, bypass by pressing "2" to use personal information.
    • "Enter primary cardholder's SSN" - all PEBT cardholders must enter 000000000, not their own SSN.
    • "Enter primary cardholders DOB" - all P-EBT cardholders should enter the oldest student's DOB, if there was more than one student's benefits on the card. It is the same student DOB that was used to PIN the card.
    • "Enter PIN" - PEBT cardholders should enter the PIN of the card they are seeking to replace.
