Welcome to 1st Grade!

We are so excited to learn and grow with your child this year! First grade is an exciting year full of learning various different skills in math and reading. This year in math, we will learn about addition, subtraction, 2D shapes, and problem-solving skills. In Literacy, we will learn how to read and explore fun and engaging fiction and nonfiction stories. We will, also, learn and explore Famous figures and the geography of Virginia! This year will be the best one yet with lots of exploration and community building. We can’t wait to see your child’s love of learning grow this year!
