Welcome to 2nd grade! 

We are so excited to spend the year with you all! This year we will be exploring many new topics! In science, we will conduct many hands-on experiments with matter, habitats and weather. In math, we will learn about place value, fractions, number sense, and more! In social studies, we will study famous Americans, Geography, and the Powhatan, Lakota and Pueblo Tribes.  In literacy, we will explore stories from many different genres, build reading fluency and develop comprehension skills.  We are looking forward to continuing to implement arts integration strategies across subjects. This year will be filled with lots of laughter, smiles, and learning!
