I was born and raised in Northeast Pennsylvania. After attending Rutgers University for four years and earning a Bachelor's degree in Journalism/Mass Media and English, I went on to earn a Master's degree in Elmentary Education from the University of Scranton. I began teaching 1st grade in Charles County Maryland in 2006. I came to Ferry Farm to teach in 2013. This will be my fourteenth year teaching. My husband, who is also a high school math and computer science teacher, is currently teaching in Maryland. We have two amazing sons who are eagles. I love having them with me at school. Our family also has three wonderful dogs named Maya, Penelope, and Becky. I am excited to be teaching 1st grade again this year and can't wait to make new friends.
