Mrs. J. Tipple
Hello, my name is Jessica Tipple. I am married with two children, both of whom attended MES with me (a 9th and a 6th grader now). As a family, we love to travel and we keep very busy with the many activities in which we are all involved. Summer this year was very different, but we did start a new hobby ok kayaking and enjoyed the great outdoors a lot more than ever! We are now ready to get back into the swing of things and have a great year in a virtual way. We will surely be learning and growing together as the year continues.
I am thrilled to be at Moncure Elementary for the tenth year and especially excited about working with your child. I wanted to become a teacher from as early as I can remember and know how important a good education is. I went to the University of Central Florida in Orlando where I studied Elementary Education and graduated in December 1998. Recognizing the importance of continuing my own education, I later went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from American Intercontinental University in 2005.
This will be my 20th year of teaching. My first experience as a teacher was in Knoxville, Tennessee where I taught First and Fourth grades. My family and I then moved to Maryland where I taught Fifth and Fourth grades. There must be "something special" about Fourth grade, as I keep coming back to it. I know the "something special" is your child and I look forward to getting to know him/her.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. We are partners in your child's education and need to work together to help him/her grow into an independent and successful student.
