I am orginially from Rochester, New York where I earned both my Bachelor and Masters Degrees. My husband, Francis, and I moved to Virginia seven years ago, and absolutely love it! We live in the neighborhood with our French Bulldog, Bruno. In addition, we are also expecting our first child this year; we are thrilled! When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing with Bruno, exercising, hiking, tennis, reading, trying new foods, lounging at the pool/beach, traveling, and rooting for the Syracuse Orangemen!

I absolutely love kids! I think most of that passion stems from the fact that I am the oldest of three, and I have a large extended family full of young cousins and teachers. When I was little, I loved playing "school" and helping my grandfather grade his schoolwork. Teaching is truly my passion. 

We are in for an amazing year together! I can't wait to meet YOU!
