Ms. Erin Toler
Hello! Welcome back from what was hopefully an awesome summer full of fun and relaxation! My name is Erin Toler and I am very much looking forward to my 4th year teaching at Rocky Run Elementary. I am passionate about teaching and I absolutely love our Bulldog community. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Mary Washington and I later returned to UMW to earn my Master’s degree in Education (Special Education K-12 endorsement). Prior to teaching, I worked with children and adolescents in more of a social work role. In this role, I provided counseling, case management, and alternative education to students in need. Although I loved working with young people in a social work capacity, I discovered that my true passion was in education. I have lived in the Fredericksburg area most of my life and I am proud to call it my hometown. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling (especially love going to the beach), reading, and watching my daughter play softball. I also love cheering on my Nats and am looking forward to watching them in the 2016 World Series (fingers crossed). I am excited for the 2016-2017 school year and I can't wait to meet my new students and their families!
