Welcome to the Department of Research, Evaluation, & Strategic Improvement, dedicated to providing comprehensive support to both schools and our central office. Our department's core functions involve evaluating existing programs, supporting and assessing new initiatives, and addressing ad hoc requests.

Additionally, our office holds the responsibility of overseeing research reviews for the entire division. We strive to enhance the quality of education by critically evaluating programs and initiatives, ensuring strategic improvements across Stafford County Public Schools.

Research Review

Stafford County Public Schools accepts applications to conduct research studies and data collection throughout the year. No external research studies or data collection will be approved without the completion of the application and adherence to criteria outlined in Policy 2301, Data Collection/Research.

Application Process:

Applications can be submitted digitally.

The Research Review Committee needs time to read and review proposals. Those submitting applications can expect an initial response approximately 4-5 weeks after submission; final committee decisions could take longer.
