School Health

Purpose

To assist with the development of health policy and the evaluation of the status of school health, health education, the school environment, and health services; and to annually report on the status and needs of student health in Stafford County's public schools.

In 2025, the committee will:

  1. Review the Stafford Schools Wellness Plan.
  2. Review school student mental supports in conjunction with the JED planning process.
  3. Review the school division’s strategies to combat chronic absenteeism.
  4. Support the planning and presentation of the Mental Health Summit.
