Stafford County Public Schools (Stafford Schools) is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with George Mason University (GMU) that offers a direct admission opportunity for our qualifying high school seniors.

Through this partnership, Stafford students who meet specific criteria will be considered for direct admission to George Mason University for the Fall 2026 semester. This is a unique chance for your student to secure their future at a leading university without the traditional application process.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students must have achieved a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.25 or higher at the end of their junior year.

  • Students must be in good standing at the time of graduation from Stafford Schools.

  •  All University academic policies, as articulated in George Mason's catalog and policy guides, apply to students admitted via direct admission.
