Discovery Nights!

Event Description

Stafford Schools will host High School Discovery Nights! throughout the month of December from 5:30 to 8 p.m. These informative events will feature sessions and exhibits to explore the various high school programs and opportunities in all five high schools, to include our High School Specialty Centers, Secondary Program Pathways, and Regional Schools.

Rising 9th and current high school families are highly encouraged to attend one of the events to plan for your student's high school experience based on programs available at specific schools. Registration for Discovery Nights! is highly recommended due to limited space and parking. Families should attend the location offering the program that best matches their student’s interests, as not all programs are available at every school, or  attend their zoned high school.

Families may request an interpreter during registration. Discovery Night content sessions will begin at 5:45 p.m. and run on a rotation schedule each night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The content sessions are led by high school counselors, teachers, and school leaders who will present options to explore numerous opportunities available in high school. Additional exhibits throughout the gym and cafeteria will showcase other high school offerings available for students.

Note: The Academy of Technology & Innovation at University of Mary Washington does not require registration through this form. The information night will be held on Thursday, November 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
