Empowering Stafford students for the 2025–2026 School Year

What a Success!

The 2025–2026 Empower Pack Project was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when a community comes together. Thanks to the generosity, hard work, and heart of Stafford County, more than 1,400 backpacks filled with essential supplies made their way into the hands of students—helping them walk into the first day of school feeling confident, prepared, and ready to shine.

The Empower Pack Project ensures every student has access to the school supplies they need to thrive. From backpacks and notebooks to pencils and other essentials, these items are available at no cost to families—because every student deserves to start the school year prepared and confident.

If your student needs supplies at any point during the year, please contact your school counselor or social worker. We’re here to support your student’s educational journey—every step of the way.

Together, we made it happen:

  • 1,400 backpacks collected

  • 4x the bulk supplies compared to previous years

  • $150,000+ in total supplies gathered

  • $9,000 in monetary and grant support

  • 15 community partners

  • 10 faith organizations

  • Dozens of Empower Pack Pals
