Stafford County Public Schools extends our sincerest thanks to everyone who joined us on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Stafford High School for the annual Stafford Social Studies Showcase. This community-wide event brought Stafford’s rich history to life and highlighted the incredible talents of our students and partners.
A Celebration of Stafford’s Past, Present, and Future
From student-led National History Day exhibits to powerful performances and short films, the event was a vibrant celebration of our region’s heritage and the voices shaping its story today.
Event Highlights

Student Exhibits: Elementary, middle, and high school students wowed visitors with research projects exploring historical themes and Stafford’s legacy.

Community Partnerships: Local organizations, including the Stafford Museum and Cultural Center, brought history to life with immersive displays and community-curated exhibits.

Film Festival: Original student-created films offered compelling insights into Stafford’s unique history, showcasing creativity and curiosity.

Live Performances: Student performers shared historical moments through music, theater, and spoken word—bringing the past into the present.

Awards Ceremony: Outstanding student projects were recognized with awards and prizes, including generous support from the Stafford Museum and Cultural Center.
