Please call the office or complete the Report and Absence link on our homepage if your child is absent or is going to be absent. It is required by law that we contact you if your child is not in school. We really appreciate hearing from you, so we don’t have to bother you at home. We have an attendance line that you may leave your child’s information on. Please send in a note on your child’s return to school with your child’s first and last name, teacher, date, and reason your child was absent from school. Attendance is very, very important to your child’s success at school.
Daily DismissalPlease, if at all possible, try to keep students going home the same way everyday. It is very difficult
to keep up with different schedules for 700 children!!! If however, your child is going home a different
way, or will be picked up early please send in a note with the students first and last name and the
teacher’s name, as well as the date on the note. All notes get sent to the office. If your child is

In an effort to ensure the safety of the students in the building at this very busy time of day NO child will be
picked up in the office between 3:30 and 3:40. We realize this is a change in our policy and hope you will
support us with this effort. Again, we want to keep our school safe for your children.
The school is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.The school day for students is 9:00 a.m. until 3:40 p.m. Children who are brought to school by parents should not arrive before 8:30 a.m. No one will be on duty to supervise children before that time.If your child is a car-rider, please only drop your child off at the car-rider drop off area (side of the building).Students may be picked up at car riders if you have signed your child up to be a car-rider and have a number. You may pick up a registration form in the office. Car-riders are dismissed at 3:40 p.m. daily.
