Welcome to First Grade!

I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. It is going to be a fun-filled year of learning, growing and discovery. 

In first grade we will build strong readers and writers as we focus on phonics and expressing ourselves in writing.

In math we will build number sense and encourage problem solving for our budding mathematicians.

We will also discover how our brains work, how we can become more successful through focused effort and learning through discovery.
