Athletics plays an important part in the life of Brooke Point High School.  Our students can learn a great deal from participation in interscholastic athletics.  Lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, competition and how to win and lose gracefully are integral parts of our athletic program.  Athletic participation also plays an important part in helping students develop a healthy self-concept as well as a healthy body.  Athletic competition also improves school spirit and helps students develop a pride in their school.

Participation in our extra-curricular activities is a privilege that carries with it responsibilities to the school, to the activity, to other students, to the community and to the athletes themselves.

Brooke Point High School also believes that promoting the values of good sportsmanship is perhaps the most important learning objective in high school athletic programs.  Parents, students, chaperones, cheerleaders, and all fans are asked to practice respect in their behavior.  Cheer for the Black-Hawks, and not against their opponents.  Join us in promoting good sportsmanship so that our students learn more than just the game.
