    **Park Ridge Families** ,

Everyone here at PRES are continuously focusing on ways to give the most support and resources to all of our students and families.  As we begin our new school year, learning and growing together, I hope you are able to see our continued commitment and believe that these are not just words that we are sharing. These are the times where it really does take a village for the greater good for our students and now more than ever, we need your support. Our teachers, paraprofessionals, administration, specialist and front office team are all navigating together this new platform so our students can continue to receive the best education possible. If you have a question or concern including but not limited to teachers/paras/specialist who are working with your children, please contact us first so we can see how we can work together to find a solution. We are confident that if we work together and support our community, our students will succeed and be resilient!

Mrs. LaKetra Spivey

Welcome Park Ridge Patriots! I am Mrs. LaKetra Spivey and I am so happy to be one of the  full time counselors at PRES.  I love this school and I love getting to meet all the children and their families.  My role is to help each and every one to learn skills and develop mindsets for growth and success.  Success is not only related to academics but also to becoming a kind, helpful and responsible citizen and to demonstrate Patriot PRIDE!!!!

I am originally from North Carolina where I received both my B.S. in Criminal Justice and my M.A. in School Counseling. I also obtained a M.S. in Marriage and Family Counseling from Walden University. I have worked with students for the last seven years in various settings and I bring my passion, dedication, and understanding with me to work with each student as an individual. I look forward to working with the students and providing them the essentials they need to navigate their way through school and life's challenges and celebrate their successes! Let's have an amazing year Patriot family!

Mrs. Renee Donovan

I am Renee Donovan, one of the school counselors at Park Ridge Elementary School. I am excited to meet all the students and families in the next few weeks. As one of the school counselors, I am dedicated to ensuring that your child has every opportunity to succeed in a safe, nurturing environment. Our goal is that your child will be enriched intellectually, emotionally, and socially so that they will become productive citizens and life-long learners. Throughout the year, I will present lessons in the classroom, such as study skills, friendship skills, healthy choices, problem-solving, and other topics. In addition, the counseling department offers many programs and resources to meet the needs of all our students and parents.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in School Counseling from Wake Forest University. This is my third year as a school counselor at Park Ridge Elementary School.

Ms. Aryn Burrage

I am Aryn Burrage, and I am one of the school counselors at Park Ridge Elementary. I am looking forward to starting my first year as a school counselor with the best students, families, and staff! As a school counselor, it is my job to create a safe and open-minded atmosphere for my students so they can grow confident in themselves and in their career and life aspirations. I believe that all students are capable of learning and growing if they are given the tools and mindset to succeed! I was born and raised in the Northern Virginia area, and I am very excited to start my journey as a counselor close to home. I went to Shenandoah University for my undergraduate degrees where I studied Psychology and Sociology and I received my master's in education and Human Development in School Counseling from George Mason University. I am very excited about becoming part of the Patriot family and I look forward to creating memories, providing guidance, and having a fantastic school year with everyone!
