As principal of Park Ridge Elementary, I want to welcome you to our website and to our Patriot family.  Here at Park Ridge we are engaged learners committed to academic success.  We believe in educating the whole child.  We focus on how to be a great student, friend, but most of all a good person.  Daily our students demonstrate Patience and Perseverance, Respect and Responsibility, Interest and Integrity, Discipline and Dependability, and Effort and Excellence.

Bio-

Mrs. Keana Sirmans-Butler was named Principal of Park Ridge Elementary School in August of 2013.  She began her teaching career in Brooklyn New York at P.S. 167 in District 17 where she taught 3^rd grade for 4 years.  She moved to Spotsylvania Virginia with her family in August of 1999 where she came to Stafford County and taught 3^rd and 4^th grade as a Falmouth Falcon for 5 years.  Mrs. Butler left Stafford County for a short while and was appointed the Assistant Principal at Essex Intermediate School in Tappahannock, Virginia.  In 2007 Mrs. Butler had the opportunity to return to Stafford County and was appointed the Assistant Principal at Rocky Run Elementary, home of Rocky the Bulldog where she served for 6 years.  Additionally, Mrs. Butler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Virginia State University, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Long Island University, Brooklyn Center, and a Post Graduate Degree in Education Leadership from George Mason University.  Mrs. Butler is the wife of a Federal Police Officer, the mom of a college Junior, and 2 Rat Terrier pups named Sissy and Chip.  Additionally, Mrs. Butler is an Avid New York Giant’s Football fan.
