Dr. James D. Stemple, Jr.

Dr. Stemple was named principal of Mountain View High School in April of 2004. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University in 1987, where he majored in technology education and minored in general science education. Dr. Stemple earned his Master's of Science in Education in 1988 from Virginia Tech. He began his teaching career at Stafford High School in August, 1988 where he taught technology education while coaching football, basketball, and softball. Dr. Stemple also served as the sophomore class sponsor and the Technology Student Association club sponsor. In the spring of 1995, Dr. Stemple began his administrative career as an assistant principal at Brooke Point High School. In December of 2000, he was named principal of North Stafford High School. In May of 2004, Dr. Stemple earned his Doctorate in Education from Virginia Tech. Dr. Stemple has three children and two step-children. Three who have graduated from Mountain View High School, and two who are currently attending Mountain View High School.

Mr. Eric Cooke

Eric Cooke was named Assistant Principal at Mountain View High School in July, 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mr. Cooke began his career with Stafford County Public Schools in 1996 as a Physical Education teacher and Assistant Football Coach at North Stafford High School. In 2001 he was named Head Football Coach, a position he held for four years before opening Mountain View and starting their program. He will begin his twenty third year in Stafford County Public Schools. Mr. Cooke currently resides in Stafford County with his wife Laurie and his two children, Carson and Kendall.

Mr. Greg Margheim

Mr. Margheim attended Virginia Tech and graduated with a Bachelor of Science. He played baseball for Virginia Tech and continued to play in the Cincinnati Reds Organization. Mr. Margheim coached baseball at Virginia Tech for three years and at George Washington University for one year. He received his Master's of Science Degree in Education from George Mason University in 2004. Mr. Margheim coached baseball and taught at Woodbridge High School for four years and served as the Activities Director for five years before opening up Freedom High School in Prince William County. He became the Assistant Principal for Athletics and Activities at Brooke Point High School in January 2005. Mr. Marghem lives in Stafford County with his three children.

Mrs. Stefanie Sullivan

Mrs. Sullivan was named Assistant Principal of Mountain View High School in November 2018. Mrs. Sullivan is originally from Cleveland, Ohio and continues to enjoy watching Ohio State football games, go Buckeyes! She began her career as a middle school math teacher at Dixon Smith Middle School in 2010 and then was named Assistant Principal at Rodney Thompson Middle School in 2015. Mrs. Sullivan earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education and specialized in math and English from Ohio University. Mrs. Sullivan earned her Master’s degree from George Mason University in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Sullivan is married, has two children, and a Labrador-Shepherd rescue named Dino. She enjoys spending time with her family, meal prepping and baking on Sundays, and volunteering in the community.

Mrs. Chelsea Tryon

Mrs. Tryon was named Assistant Principal of Mountain View High School in July 2017. Prior to this appointment, she was an Assistant Principal of A. G. Wright Middle School and had been the Principal Intern at Brooke Point High School. She began her career as a Special Education teacher at A. G. Wright in 2004. Mrs. Tryon earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Leadership from Christopher Newport University and her Master’s of Education from the University of Mary Washington. In 2010, Mrs. Tryon earned her Post-Master’s certificate in Administration and Supervision from the University of Mary Washington. Mrs. Tryon is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time at sporting events with her children, especially baseball.
