Department Overview
-
The Office of Human Resources and Talent Development is proud to support the mission of Stafford County Public Schools to inspire and empower all learners to thrive. We do this by prioritizing four values:
- We put students first – even though we work primarily with adults, the best interests of students should be the first consideration in our policies, strategies, practices, and decisions.
- We commit to excellence – we collectively own responsibility to meet our office goals, provide outstanding customer service, proactively communicate, and constantly improve our work.
- We want SCPS to be the employer of choice in this area – we are committed to making SCPS too good to leave, pursuing human-centered policies and practices for recruitment and retention and modeling a welcoming, supportive environment.
- We will act with respect and integrity in everything we do – we will reflect the culture we want SCPS to be known for, embedding equity and transparency in our decisions.
