Mrs. Rita Cavataio

Interim Assistant Principal

Supervising grades 6 and 7, Science, ESOL, and Fine & Performing Arts.

Mrs. Cavataio retired in the summer of 2020 and have worked for 17 years as a school administrator before her retirement.  She spent 6 years as an Assistant Principal at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg and then came to Stafford County to serve as Assistant Principal at Brooke Point High School.  After 4 years at Brooke Point High School she moved to Stafford Counties Alternative Center, The Phoenix Center as Principal for the last 7 years of her career.  Before entering administration, Mrs. Cavataio was a Special Education teacher  and a classroom teacher in Stafford Counties Alternative center where she taught Math and English.
 
Mrs. Cavataio holds a BA from Creighton University in Omaha Nebraska, in Special Education and a Masters in Special Education for the University of Nebraska.  She received her Administration and Supervision In Education Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.(VCU).

Ms. Andrea Marra

Assistant Principal

Ms. Marra graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2015 with her bachelor's degree in Middle Level Education. She accepted her first teaching job that fall at Rodney Thompson Middle School where she taught 6th and 7th grade math. She then transferred to North Stafford High School in 2018 where she taught Algebra 1 and accepted the head Varsity Cheer coach position. In 2021, she completed her masters degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Liberty University.
